More about Wild Little Mellow
With over 10 years’ experience in health and social care, I’ve had the privilege of working across a wide range of settings: from elderly care and vulnerable adults, to education support for autistic and disabled children. My journey has included roles as a carer, activity coordinator, and learning support assistant, always centred on compassion, creativity, and individual needs.
Rooted in a lifelong love of nature and music, my background also includes years as a sound engineer. Today, I combine that creative spirit with academic focus as I complete a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with the intention of progressing to a Master’s degree in developmental and educational psychology.
I hold a Care Certificate, Paediatric First Aid certification, and a full Enhanced DBS check. I’m currently registering with Ofsted as a childminder, with availability from September 2025. My aim is to provide gentle, one-to-one care in a homely setting: a nurturing, educational alternative to traditional childcare, built around the warmth and rhythm of family life.
My approach blends the practical support of a carer with the creativity of an educator and the nurturing presence of a childminder. I offer activities that support emotional growth, life skills, and self-expression, including music and French language lessons. Art, sensory play, and gardening are central to our days together, encouraging learning through curiosity and connection.
I have a deep passion for our community and believe in supporting families with care that is thoughtful, flexible, and truly child-centred. Every child is met as an individual, supported at their own pace, and welcomed just as they are.
