More about Wild Little Mellow

With over ten years of experience in care and education, I’ve had the joy of supporting people through many stages of life; from elderly care and adult support to helping neurodivergent and disabled children thrive in school and at home. Whether working as a carer, activity coordinator, or learning support assistant, my focus has always been on kindness, creativity, and meeting each person where they are.

I’ve also spent many years in the world of sound and music, and that creative thread still runs through everything I do. My days now are shaped by nature, rhythm, and connection, caring for children with presence, playfulness, and respect. I love sharing the things that bring me joy, and often weave music, French language, art, and gardening into the time I spend with little ones. These activities invite curiosity, creativity, and confidence in ways that feel natural and fun.

I hold a CertHE in Psychology and a diploma in Audio Engineering, alongside training in paediatric first aid, safeguarding, food hygiene, and care practices. I have an enhanced DBS on the update service, full public liability insurance, and have completed the Care Certificate. I am registered with Ofsted on the voluntary childcare register and accept Tax-Free Childcare.

My approach blends the practical support of a carer with the creativity of an educator and the nurturing presence of a childminder. I offer activities that support emotional growth, life skills, and self-expression, encouraging learning through curiosity and connection.

I have a deep passion for our community and believe in supporting families with care that is thoughtful, flexible, and truly child-centred. Every child is met as an individual, supported at their own pace, and welcomed just as they are.
